How are your packages structured?

We structure our packages around our base, $1200 4-hour music package for your reception.  From there, you can add on ceremony, lighting, and other additional add-ons to customize a package for your special day that fits within your budget.  You can pick and choose your a la carte options so you never have to pay for something you do not want or need.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.  Cash will need to be exchanged at an in-person meeting, checks can be dropped off or sent through regular mail, and credit cards are also accepted through digital invoice.


Do you offer flexible payment terms?

While we will set specific payment deadlines, in some instances, we can offer Flex Pay options if you are booking your event in advance of a year or so.  Flex Pay includes a smaller deposit and regular monthly or bi-monthly payments.  Contact Heather for more details.


We are ready to book.  What do we need to do?

Contact us by email or phone.  You will need to speak with Heather by phone for a final quote, so calling may be quicker for you.  Once you decide on your time frame, package, and payment method, we will draw up our contract.  The contract and wedding itinerary will be sent to you the same day, with the deposit being made within 7 days to reserve your date.


Can I make changes to my contract?

Yes, you can make changes or additions to your contract until 60 days before your event.  The 60-day mark indicates when final payment needs to be made, for any and all contracted services, including changes and additions.


What time are we actually billed for?

We never bill for set up or tear down.  You are only billed for the time we are on site ready to perform, or from when we start playing.  Please see Heather for clarification.


When do you begin playing?

We begin playing as soon as we see the first guest.  We never allow silence.  It makes us look like we do not know what we are doing!  We also want your guests to enjoy the most seamless experience possible.  It is our company policy to always have music playing when any guests are in our service area.


Do you travel?

Yes, we will travel to your event.  We do not charge for travel if your event falls within an hour radius from our headquarters in East Berlin, PA.  We will travel, but there may be a small travel fee.  Please see Heather for details.


Do you require a vendor meal?

We very much appreciate a vendor meal being offered to our DJs.  It is a short break for them and reminds them to eat!  Sometimes we get so caught up in your special event that we forget to take care of ourselves, and no one wants low blood sugar!  The meal does not need to be the $125/per head surf ‘n turf, but any meal you would like to provide for your hard-working DJ would be greatly appreciated!  Your music will never stop for your DJ to take a break.


What do I need to provide at my venue for HD Entertainment?

We will require a table with matching linen at any site (ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception) where you would like us to play.  We will also require electric at these same locations.  Just one outlet will be enough for us.


How many DJs does your package include?

While your package includes one DJ, often times we will bring an assistant who is training with us.  Your event will be coordinated and executed by our seasoned, veteran DJ, with the assistant observing and sometimes jumping in on instruction from our veteran DJ.  If we will not be bringing an assistant, we will normally let you know.  Please bank on having two representatives from our company.


How do you deal with VIPs or rowdy guests?

HD Entertainment takes direction of coordination and song suggestions from the couple getting married, or the person paying, whoever identifies as the owner of the event.  At no time will we allow someone else to plug into our system, pick a song to play from our screen, touch or use our equipment nor will we endure harassment of any kind from anyone associated with the event.  This is to ensure everyone’s safety and to align with our liability policy through Erie Insurance.  If at any time HD Entertainment or its agents encounter harassment (sexual, threatening, or any kind) or unlawful use of our equipment, we reserve the right to discontinue services immediately, whether or not your event is over.
